Golden light

Textures continued. This was taken last year using tulips I purchased at a grocery store. The oak surface is very old, a side table from my grandparents' home. I wanted to give this image an aged look with texture from Ash Imagery purchased years ago but never used--so I guess that part is old, too! Using texture is still new for me. The techniques seem simple, but finding the right match between image and texture can be a fun challenge. I purposely left texture throughout the image, including on the flowers and the vase.

Thank you for visiting! Your comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

@Anita: Oh, thank you!!!!! I do appreciate your opinion! I was quite unsure about leaving texture all over the image, and then thought, well ... it is that aged sort of look that appeals to me. Thanks for taking a look and commenting.

@Maria Draper: Thanks, Maria! I have a space in the upstairs that I use for some studio type images. Although, lately I have been using my kitchen table again, since it is easier. Someday I want to get back to the flowers in a vase phase, but now I am having fun in the outdoors.
