Orchid 1, Phalaenopsis

This orchid, our first ever, is growing in a pot in our kitchen since Dec. 30. Each day we admired, and "oohed" and "ahhhed" as each bud opened. Naturally, the next action was to take photographs.

@Don: Thanks, Don! It has been delightful to have this plant in the house. It is still going strong. I must say, it took me some time to get to know the blossoms. Quite a few of the images went into the delete bin.
