Oh wow! This is so very beautiful. I love how the white stands out against the black.

@✿ Anina ✿: Thanks! The black happened because the flower was so white, and the rest of the room at that time was not lit. In postprocessing the raw image, the background turned darker still. I do have black velvet fabric for backgrounds, but did not need it for these images.

@Aubélia: Thanks, Aubélia, for visiting and commenting. I am finding the orchid is an interesting flower to photograph. There are so many parts to it, and they all look different depending on the angle of view.
