The tall pine seen here is the same as the pine tree in the center of yesterday's image, but from a different angle of view. This place is on an edge of Elmwood Park, along Happy Hollow Boulevard. It is a small depression in the landscape that looks rural in the right season and the right light. Beyond the trees is a deep ravine in which runs a small creek. This is an image that could be cropped square, as well. I am categorizing it today as cityscape, although it looks more like a landscape.

@Ronnie 2¢: I sure do recall the cold moments! :)) This one, however, was a little easier to do than some others.
@Arnd: Winter is great. One has to be dressed for it, though. I have long thought that is the secret. The thing about winter, however, is it takes longer to get dressed for it!
@Jac: Thank you, Jac!! A good weekend to you, also!
@Richard Geven: A lot of areas had no snow this year, disappointing for those who enjoy the esthetics and the sports. Thanks for your comments! :)
@Jim: It definitely was a wonderland that day and the next, complete with a milky white sky. Just amazing day to be out with the camera. We were fortunate it was a weekend with lots of time to explore. Three days later, it was all melting away.
@Rick: Thanks again, Rick, for your lovely comments! :)
@Kala: What??!!!! You live near Elmwood Park? I am in the Dundee neighborhood. I love your creative and beautiful art on your blog. I just explored them all again. Gorgeous work.
@Christine: Thank you, Christine! Thanks for your visit and comment! :)
@CElliottUK: Thanks very much!!
@Mary: Mary, thanks for visiting here and your comment. Snow clinging to branches is unusual here. If there is that kind of clinging snow, sunlight and wind the next day makes it all fall off rather quickly. This particular day the coatings lasted for two full days, although the first day of it seemed the best or freshest.
@mimicy: Merci! Mimicry. Thank you for visiting and leaving you kind comment.
@Steve Rice: It sure is, Steve. We were astounded as we looked out the window before realizing we needed to get out there with camera!!!!
@Anita: The categories are sometimes halfway between what I think I should choose. I have looked around at other images to see what others have chosen. That helps me---most of the time!
